It's great in that it'll help improve knee reconstructions specific to ACL surgeries, but I'm a little blown away by the fact that the article says this ligament was suggested to exist by a French surgeon in 1879 and just 134 short years later was finally corroborated.
That and and the fact that in the history of knee surgeries at least one surgeon didn't go "Holy #### what the hell is that thing right there!?!?".
