I hope too, but highly doubt it. The S4 mini was supposed to be a lite smartphone and Telus is selling it as a premium smart phone, and you can only get it with a $70 or more plan... at least that phone is free though. The S4 outright from Telus is $400. The Nexus 5 is rumored to be $500, so I'm pretty confident that it won't be a part of their lite plans.
I need a new phone, so I'm going to get the Nexus 4 for free, save up and get the Nexus 5 from Google. The 4 can hold me over till it comes, and I get to keep my cheap plan.
