The other inexcusable event of season 2.
When that moron shoots at the redneck mistakenly because they thought he was a walker.
This is just tacky add-on drama but it makes zero sense both the event and the events after it.
The show has proven that one walker versus one human is basically no match for the walker. This is one walker against five humans prepared with arms.
The woman on the RV decides that it's a good idea to shoot at the walker while her human contemporaries are between her and the walker with zero real threat to any of them. So ok, you say, maybe that's her character, that she's a huge arse hole and would risk killing one of her pack for the chance at target practice. I guess that's admissible.
What is NOT admissible is the reaction of the other characters. She a) almost mistakenly killed one of them when they said don't shoot and b) she endagered the lives of all six people as they were about 300 yards away and she's a rookie shot, it's just as likely she shoots one of them in the back. So what do the other characters do? NOTHING.
The normal thing to do during a zombie apocalypse would have been to boot stomp her to death for cavalierly endangering their lives. There would be zero reason to have this person around. But no, nobody says anything to her. Nobody says, WTF were you doing? I understand this is the zombie apocalypse but come on.
