I agree. I'm 99% certain there is something more. Just how involved Ford is will be the interesting thing. Maybe he really is just an innocent bystander that got in over his head. But it seems more and more likely, he knows something, and may be involved somehow.
Have people been killed for him? Did he know anything about it, or were his 'friends' acting on his behalf without his knowledge. Or did those killed and injured just get involved in occupational hazards?
We know for sure he's been trying to cover this up to some extent. Just how far did he go to do that? A victim of extortion, or did he take matters into his own hands. Just exactly who was trying to extort him anyway? Was it Lisi, or was he 'helping' the mayor.
The police are asking for an interview. He's declining thus far. They might arrest him for it in a week or a month. If I had to bet on it or against it, I would bet on it. Even if he is guilty of nothing, you know he knows something. They got him on tape making deliveries. You know there's going to be more to that.
