I wouldn't hold my breath. The guy will turn 31 in a month...he is not going to get back his youthful energy. This is as good as it gets...streaky goal-scorer who gets you points when he's on, and disappears when he's off. Love it or leave it.
That's the primary reason why I think the Flames should do whatever they can to make him waive that NTC, and get something for him while they can (and while other teams still want him). No matter how many goals he gets, he doesn't have much of a long-term future with this team at his age. We're just watching a good asset waste away.
