Looks the like camera quality is a step up from the iphone 5/c with the exception of some exposure issues, but the iphone 5S is still better, especially when shooting with the flash on. Fortunately the exposure issues can usually be fixed by using different camera software or shooting in HDR mode.
The default camera software is slower than the iPhone though taking 1-2s per shot vs about 1/4s on the iPhone in non-hdr mode.

Does look like a great value for the dollar as they rank it as the 2nd best overall cell phone behind the 5S.
