I would like to see Monahan remain with Hudler, and have Sven play primarily with Backlund or potentially on the Colborne and Cammalleri line. I really think separating those two would spark Baertschi's offensive game.
IMO Baertchi provides a lot of skating and energy to that line and is much more important than you think.

I'm not opposed to the idea of putting Baertchi with Backlund or Colborne. Backlund-Baertchi would have a lot of skating power, and Colborne could be someone who could use someone to feed him some pucks like Baertchi has done for Monahan a few times.

However, I think one point of the Baertchi-Monahan-Hudler line is that it's basicly a pure offense line, unlike any of our other lines, and Hartley has been using them effectively. While all of our forwards have been good with defensive responsibility, I still think almost all of our other forwards have a better two-way game, except maybe Cammalleri and Glencross on a bad day. (Which I think he has fewer than many on the board are saying.)
