I still haven't found much use at all for Google Now, at least nothing that makes it worth the toll it seemed to take on my Nexus 4's battery, which is a shame because I can really see the potential.

There's the odd bit of info that I found valuable but most of what it was giving me was useless or unwanted information. For instance, a few months ago I was going to be in the US so I ordered some stuff online for a friend because shipping to Canada was ridiculous. I guess the place I ordered from was a company that specializes in allergen friendly foods so now because the order went through my Gmail account, Google Now thinks I want to be constantly reminded of where the nearest gluten free restaurants are.

I guess if you're fully committed to it (i.e. doing everything through Gmail, using Google's calendar apps, using Chrome for browsing, etc.) the utility is pretty apparent, but for me 90% of the info it was giving me was pointless and unneeded (I really don't need directions for a 5 minute drive home when there's no traffic). Because of that I've found it less of a hassle to just get the info I want on demand rather than dismiss the useless stuff I don't need. I'll probably give it another shot once it I get 4.4 though.
