Okay, fine, he's begging for help, but why now? Why not when he was 500 lbs, why didn't he go for a walk when he was 500 lbs?
And don't give me the whole "He's not in controll of his eating" bit. He made a conscious choice to eat.
What's that? You're still hungry? Yeah, being 1000lbs will do that to you, but perhaps heating 4 pizzas is a bad way to fix that problem, maybe being hungry when you weigh 1000lbs is a good thing. Fine, here's your pizzas.
No one shoved the food down his throught, and sure someone gave him the food, but he's the one that stuffed it down his gullet.
It always amazes me when you see people like this and they invariably bust out the "I can't help it, I'm always hungry" and that may be true, as there is a disease that causes you to think you're always hungry, but you know what? These are the same people who probably eat the most unhealthy food in the world.
I saw a program on TLC about that condition and what were they all eating? Fast food, and junk food.
If you're hungry all the time, why not eat vegtables or fruit all the time instead of pizza and cupcakes?
If it's depression, you're making a conscious choice to not seek help and to stuff your face.
If its an eating disorder, you're making a conscious choice to eat crap instead of trying to fill up on things that are healthy.
If this dude is the exceptin who got fat while eating celery and running 5 miles a day then fine, I'm wrong, but I'd be willing to bet his daily meals resembled the McDonalds menu, and his only exercise was being helped to the toilet.
