Here is the final CFL attendance numbers for the year. All the attendance numbers come from cfl.ca which I have placed into a handy excel table! You can see that 4 teams saw attendance increases while 4 dropped. One of the teams that dropped was Hamilton but that is due to their stadium situation. I see no reason why Edmonton can't climb next year to their historical levels with a better team. BC dropping was a little surprising but not concerning. Toronto is the one market that needs fixing. I personally think a new stadium can solve their issues. I think next year can be a huge success. With better teams Winnipeg and Edmonton could see a bump and remain well above 30000. Saskatchewan should remain above 30000. I'd like to see Calgary and BC jump back to at least 30000 each. It's possible we could have 5 teams drawing over 30000. With new stadiums for Hamilton and Ottawa, I'd love it if they could regularly sell out their stadiums at 24000 each. If Montreal can climb back to 24-25000 we are in solid shape! Just Toronto would remain the step child of the league. Get that stadium built!
