The first step to improving the goaltending situation is to improve the defence. Until that's achieved then there's no point acquiring a goalie who is going to be made to look foolish playing behind a sieve.

So a better defense will allow our goalies to stop getting scored on from the corner, behind our own goal line?
Could our defense core be improved? Sure, but I think they're playing just fine given their "pedigree". Besides, overall team defense isn't just about the defensemen and I think our forward group have been helping out more this season than they have in years.
Also, giving up the 12th most shots per game in the league should not equal giving up the 29th most goals per game.....IMO the amount of quality scoring chances I've seen the team give up doesn't justify our goalies' pathetic sub .890 combined save percentages.
Just to be clear, I don't want to bring in Bryz, I'm just of the opinion that our goaltending has by far been our weakest point so far this season.
