I hope no one is expecting Berra to come in put up great numbers and solidify the #1 spot. It would be unfair to put those kind of expectations on a youngish player who has yet to play a single game in the NHL. He has been okay in Abbotsford but hasn't been a world beater. That said, he has a lot more upside and it makes a lot more sense for him to be here than Mac. If Berra lets in that weak 3rd goal last night, its more forgivable for a young, developing guy to make that mistake than a supposed vet. I still think Ramo's been better than his stats indicate, but having a Ramo-Berra tandem just made things very interesting. It's also nice to have Brossoit and Ortio play through their growing pains down in Abbotsford with Mac relegated to 3rd stringer if he passes through waivers.
