Feel bad for Joey Mac but he did play in the NHL and has made decent coin playing a game.

However, there seems to be some character issues with him. Apparently the Flames wanted him to come in in the best shape ever as there was the potential to be a no. 1 here, and he just came into camp in his usual shape. Then the comments after the loss against Detroit.

Will be interesting to see what the Flames do with him. Do you send him to the ECHL and have one of your prospects backup in the AHL, or do you find some minor league team to loan him out to? You probably don't want him influencing any of your prospects.
