Apples and oranges.
NYR and Bruins have two of the largest and oldest fanbases. They also have much more dense citites with a much higher local population draw. Not to mention that the stadiums in NYC and Boston are tiny for cities of that size. Therefore, generally, they'll be a shortage of tickets.
10,452 fans is decent for a Wednesday night for a small market club like Phoenix.
