I recently opened my own shop and until the end of July worked a block south of the EPCOR tower. There is a huge difference. It would have been like putting a new building on the wrong side of the Cecil in downtown Calgary 10 years ago. Until the area is developed, it's in a tough spot.

In any event, I briefly considered space in the EPCOR tower but decided to move outside of the downtown core for parking, construction, and other reasons. I signed a 3 year lease and may consider going back down once the construction dies down.
