No, it does not have to be a bad thing. And there are times when it is completely necessary and definitely the
right thing.
But this notion that watching from the pressbox is some kind of new perspective, and a teaching revelation, is vastly overstated.
The guys watch film (i.e. the same view) every single day. They are shown specifically what they are doing well and what they are doing poorly, from above,
every day.
