Edmonton's problem is with its core players. They don't believe in playing a 200 ft game. The problem is, these young guys are touted as the solution not the problem and they always will be. Heck they just got big extensions.
They'll continue to tinker and swap out pieces around the core looking for that magic fix, much like the Flames did 2006-2011. They'll never find it because their biggest problem, is the one thing they'll never fix.
