But he didn't, that's kind of the point, he infused the offense with better and faster decision making and more creativity. The exact opposite situation happened in the first Riders game when Tate was pulled because of injury and Glenn was ineffective in replacing him. As I've said a few times, I'm not trying to down Glenn, I'm happy we have him or the Stamps would be in some trouble the last couple years but Tate is clearly the more talented QB and I just don't get people praising Glenn like a god when he has all the tools a QB could ever dream of to work with: The best OLine, best receivers, best RB, most possesion time, and he's still just okay.
