I wonder if this is just part of being the first launch in the "connected" social media era.
Lots of negative rumors about the XBox One so far, not as many about the PS4 but they seem to be holding this a little closer to there vests.
If the features are not ready for launch they will likely just be scrapped from the OS until they can get them working, which is not un-common.
