We Were Soldiers and Windtalkers were decent, but flawed. Windtalkers had some pretty poor acting.

I understand the Artistic Merit of a Movie like "The Thin Red Line" but Saving Private Ryan should really be on there ahead of it for the opening scene alone.

I think The Longest Day and Platoon are missing for the list. also, Tora Tora Tora and Das boot.

Edit: Seem's like the list is quite slanted to Movies that were critical of war and avoided movies that were more historical in nature.
