Anyways I don't see how Jankowski can be labelled as a boom/bust pick anymore. The boom potential is certainly still there but the biggest knock against him in his draft year was that he pretty much played rec hockey going into the draft. Given 3 or 4 years to adjust to a higher level of hockey really lowers that bust potential
Plus, even if he doesn't pan out as a top 6 center he can still play in the NHL. A center with a good two-way game, great size, good speed, and great hockey sense? Doesn't sound like a player that is likely to bust (relatively speaking).
5 pts in 5 games with 2 ridiculous goals is a great start to his second year. Gilles stats are even more spectacular, hopefully they both play a 3rd year so they can compete for a national championship

They might get that chance this year.
They were ranked 8th going into this week and just had a win and a tie against #3 Miami.
They might pass both Miami and BC (currently losing 6-1) after this week.
