I don't think its hysteria to question the coaches decision on this one. I think at the end of the day, with all the meritocracy talk, it just doesn't seem justified. Sven has perhaps not been scoring as much as one would think, but I think he's being playing great. His line with Monahan has often been the best one....and I think a lot of that is because of Sven.

And I could understand this more, if the same barometer was applied to the rest of the team. Glencross should've been benched by now. So should have Butler. Hell, Brodie has had some terrible games too.

I like Hartley...but personally I hate how's dealt with Sven right from the start. I don't think Sven will ever be Brendan Gallagher. I think they are totally different types of players.
