Slava, if you want to grow your profile, I suggest you continue posting on Calgary Puck and always agree with / support popular opinion on here.

No controversial posts, because your opponents will be watching you.


But in all seriousness here are a few suggestions I think would be beneficial:
- Volunteer or seek Board positions in your Community Association
- If you have kids that are involved in sports, get actively involved in the Organizations
- Volunteer and get active in your constituency on a Provincial or Federal Level
- Start a Blog that provides commentary / criticism of civic issues and politics

If you are articulate, friendly, good at building allies, have a good track record of being a good citizen then that is a bonus too.
