Not too sure on any specific deals but don't forget that if you buy them in Alberta you will be saving an additional 7% (I think) because of PST. So the AMA deal saves you approx $12-15.
If you are a casual skier tune them or at minimal wax them at the start of the season. If you are averaging 5 days a year that should be all you really need.
