He's a scrappy dude who doesn't have an excess of talent. In a year when we expect the team to lose a bunch of games, it's very important to have a goalie that they want to play hard for.

I get the scrappy attitude and work ethic angle, but from my (defenseman's) perspective I would find it frustrating how often I have to collapse in front of Mac and fight for the puck/position because he can never seem to find/hold onto it. Just my opinion. I would give Ramo 5 or 6 games in a row now. And honestly, I was pretty perplexed by following up Ramo's great game against the Kings with Mac. I get the back to back but it's not like Ramo has played a whole bunch to be tired, and didn't Mac play 2 games back to back earlier in the year following a loss? Just doesn't make sense to me.
