Northland VW? Why not move to the NW? Lots of nice suburban neighbourhoods there if you are tired of condo living. You could get some nice suburban 60s era lots/homes in Varsity, etc. which are awesome after renovation and if you change your mind and want to go back to Condos, there are a lot of newer developments starting up there (University City, Varsity Gardens). You could walk/bike to work every day and you are close to both TransCanada and Crowchild which makes trips to the mountains only take marginally longer than if you lived in Cochrane.
