The Brick/Leons/United Furniture all sell that same "transitional" furniture stuff that clogs suburbanite homes.
Ikea sells pseudo-modernist furniture of dubious quality that may or may not tip over/collapse.
Higher end stuff can be found at places like Revolve, EQ3, Crate & Barrel, The Bay which cater to both transitional and modern tastes, but it's recommended to only buy their show models or "scratch"-room items if you can.
