I haven't talked to Pincott or Maxim in person, however the following is my opinion:
The only thing I saw Pincott do during his last term was start a shark fin soup ban which helped the citizens of Ward 11 substantially. /sarcasm.
That being said, the are rumuors abound that Maxim is part of the developers slate. You likely have seen the yellow 20:1 signs all along 90th ave and other places. 20to1.ca leads you to a site for Wayne Frisch where he indicates another candidate in Ward 11 will spend 20x the amount he will because of corporate donations from one single industry. It is obvious he is referencing Maxim and the developers contributions to his campaign.
For this reason I cannot vote for James Maxim. If a single source is funding his whole campaign, he would likely have to answer to them when he sits on city council. I do not want my representative for Ward 11 to have to answer to a corporation, I want them to answer to the citizens of Ward 11.
