I also think people are being overly harsh on the launch titles due to the lack of system exclusives.
For the XBoxOne you have Forza, Dead Rising, and Ryse.
PS4 you have Killzone, Knack (which I am excited for), Resogun and other indie titles.
But then for multi-platform you have Madden, Fifa, NBA 2K14, Call of Duty, Assassins Creed, Battlefield, and Need for Speed which are all pretty decent AAA titles.
More then enough games to make purchasing now worth it.

Can you please explain what has you excited for Knack? I saw a video or two from the game but it didn't look too great. I loved the Ratchet and Clank/Jax series from the PS2/PS3 and this looked very similar though it sounded like the game was targeted more towards younger kids.
I am disappointed about Drive Club being delayed. For the PS4 the only game I will have is KillZone so I'm hoping that can be a good showcase game for the system. Other than that there's not a whole lot. I may pick up Need for Speed Rvials and
maybe Call of Duty though I'm more of a single player game person than multiplayer and those games usually don't have substantial single player portions.
For the XBox One I've got Ryse and Forza 5 and I may get Killer Instinct (wife likes fighting games). I'm not sure what other game(s) I could get for that console that would be worthwhile.
