However, I get it. I fail to see why he should be considered an N quality d-man. He might be better than average in the A... but then again, maybe not. It's frustrating. The Flames need to start playing to win, and not just 'not to lose.' Having Butler in your core D group isn't projecting this aspiration, nor is it instilling any faith in the fans for a successful rebuild.  My vote would be for replacing him with Breen (when he's healthy), whom I have always been impressed with. |
