I agree based on talent it's a little one-sided but the Russian factor devalues Yakupov somewhat. It's why Nichushkin dropped in the draft and the reason I hoped to god Calgary didn't pick him. There's always going to be question marks regarding willingness to play a team game, work hard, be a leader, the option of the KHL, etc. Reimer isn't going anywhere and doesn't have any character issues so long term he may be a safer bet. I think the Leafs may have to throw in a draft pick or prospect off the farm but I don't think Yakupov's value is as high as your typical 1st overall draft pick.
