How did I miss this thread??? This is my favorite subject!
It's no secret to most people who know me. I love beer. I have one beer almost every evening when I am winding down. When I go out to eat, I will order a beer. I realize this "habit" adds up, but it's really the only habit I have that costs me money. I'm sure I am not the only one who loves a nice cold beer. I've probably tried almost every beer at the liquor store. My favorite beers in no particular order are:
Mill Street Organic
Grolsch
Steamwhistle
Hoegaarden
Big Rock Saaz Republic Ale
Big Rock Scottish Style Heavy Ale
Ricard's White
Shock Top
I am sure there are more, I really dislike Bud, Canadian, Kokanee and those types of beers that taste like water. I hate paying $15 for a 6 pack of beer, what a serious rip off when compared to the prices in the US. Oh well.
Any suggestions for a good cheap beer under $2/serving?
