I have read through this thread and haven't really heard very many convincing arguments.
Just alot of 'chest beating' and name calling.
I think the #1 criticism of the parody site was the fact they registered the name of another organization and alot of people might view that as if the creators of the website were trying to 'steal' the name & brand & legitimacy of civic camp.
I do not think this was their intent. I don't see Jane & Cory trying to sue Civic Camp and demanding that they 'cease and desist' their activities because they aren't registered.
If Jane & Cory did do this, then I would side with Civic Camp and say they definitely got a raw deal.
