good game, flames were a bit flat at times, and some miscues by the defense gave the ducks the goals they needed.

really liked:
- backlund was creating a lot
- hudler is the catalyst for offense on this team
- colborne's best game as a flame, heck maybe in the NHL

negatives:
- thought the d as a whole were guilty of a lot of mistakes this game, 2 resulting in goals against
- what the heck was jackman thinking? Hope he doesn't see icetime for a month for such idiocy.

down 3-1, against one of the better teams in the league, the flames won the 3rd period. All in all, good game for the flames.

This road trip, and the competition being faced, is really a true test on what the flames have in Monohan. Last night, the case could be made that maybe he should head down this year. It was curious to see tsn point out that he's playing wing in the d-zone.
