All in all I’m pretty impressed actually. The Flames had enough go wrong in the first period to call it a night but they pushed hard and slowly took the play away from the Ducks on enemy ice. Nothing in that game hurts the Flames early season story. Well done!

That's pretty much it for me. Got ourselves in some trouble to start against a team that so far has thrived in the early minutes of games. But managed to weather the storm and certainly had our chances to tie things up. Not much to be disappointed with in that loss.
Can't say I'm a fan of some of these costly giveaways by our more veteran players ending up in the back of our net though. Would be slightly more understandable and forgivable if it were coming from the rookies. Hopefully this trend ends quickly.
