Working collaboratively??
You make essentially copy their site, domain name and logo and make a mockery of their work yet you somehow expect anyone's first thought is for them to work collaboatively with you?
Mind blown at the thought process behind this...
Who in the right mind would think this is a good idea and would think other people would react favorably to this? Were you expecting high fives or handshakes? Or a "Way to go Jane! You sure showed that volunteer organization how ridiculous they look by setting up a mock website"
