Aren't you 8 feet tall and something like 100lbs? You probably looked like an offensive Wilt Chamberlain.

I had a skinhead buddy do Mr T back in the 90's, and he had no problem with it. It was probably as offensive as you can imagine, combat boots, rolled jeans, wallet chain, flight jacket, black face and mohawk. It looked absolutely nothing like Mr T, and he didn't get hassled at all.
