It is preposterous to continue to believe that a player with his skill, his commitment to improvement, and his zeal is somehow destined to substantially regress to the point of being scratched and released from his NHL team.
You're opinion is not rational. You clearly are latched on to a now antiquated idea about what sort of player Backlund is, even though he has unequivocally surpassed it.
