If that's true then their priorities are totally out of whack. Glory is temporary, head shots last forever. (to turn a well known phrase)
Seriously, if people understood the physical damage they are doing to their nervous system..the system that controls and maintains
all function in their body..they wouldn't be so glib with their responses in regards to concussions and head injuries. This is a problem with a cultural mindset within a sport, and the sooner it changes the better. I enjoy fighting for my personal excitement, but when I see stuff like that happen I feel like I can get excited enough by slick passes, goals, big saves, and hits (as long as they don't make the head the principle point of contact

).
Like it or not, at some point fighting is going the way of the do-do bird.
