Remember all those years when Kipper was in his prime, and the a Flames were consistently a playoff team, and Oiler fans would come out of the woodwork to tell us about how the team was simply riding the Kipper wave, implying that we didn't really have a good team, that somehow the goalie didn't count as an actual part of the team when evaluating its quality. I think its hilarious now that these same fans feel that they have a good team but just need a good goalie to round it out.
Also, DD wasn't even that bad last night. He screwed up the wrap around, but that's it. I know folks will say Kadri's was also his fault, but if his play wasn't already under a microscope the only thing anyone would be talking about on that one w as the perfect shot that went in.
