I may have a different recollection of Toews. I saw him a junior development camp once and he was one of the best skaters on the ice. Skating has always been a big strength of Toews'.
I just don't see a whole lot of Toews the player in Monahan. The more I think on it the more I like the Linden comparable. Which is high praise btw.
