Yes it does.
There is a reason he fell as far as he did - the fact that he almost certainly didn't have what it takes mentally to be an NHLer.
This season is clearly demonstrating to those that don't yet get it that it is a TEAM game, not a collection of talented individuals.
I liked the Reinhart pick then (vs Kabanov) and I like it a lot more now. In all likelihood, Reinhart will be a 3rd - 4th liner at best. But he would do whatever it takes for his team.
I'll take that every time over a head case like Kabanov.
The Flames took a long shot pick with Gaudreau, so it's not like they never do it - they just did it at a better time
