Your logic is fine. The basis of my argument (and I agree with you i wish they printed more stuff like this since it's hilarious, but then the line would be VERY blurry) is that as a human being, who has regular social interaction, Botchford thinking it is appropriate to print a masterbation joke from a player, especially without his consent, is just plain stupid. Your hypothetical about Marleau is completely different. If a reporter can't tell the difference between a comment on a hockey play, and a masterbation joke, maybe they shouldn't make their living in something that revolves around....words.
