No way. Just because Europeans make a bigger deal of the World Championship doesn't mean they're comparable.
Olympic gold and Stanley Cup are debatable, but Stanley Cup beats out a World Championship 99 times out of 100.
(I would guess that there are certain situations where the WC is a really special deal. Stuff like Slovakia winning their first championship against Russia after recently becoming they're own country, I'm guessing that's pretty special. But not really a lot of situations like that.)
