Glencross had a much better game but was disappointed with him at the very very end. He played selfishly to try and get the empty net goal instead of safe to win the game.
Giordano took a stupid and selfish penalty when the Canadiens should have been out of the game. Instead they score and they have some life breathed back into them for that 3rd period.
These are the veteran leaders that the consensus is need to be around to give the rookies someone to learn from. Yet that's multiple games now where the vets were the ones making the "rookie mistakes". Flames can't afford to have these veterans play like that during the rebuild, regardless of the outcome of the game.
The good news is that everyone has been playing with such effort that even with a couple mistakes here and there they have a chance to win.
