Jankowski was drafted out of a High School Hockey League and made the jump to the NCAA.
Monahan was drafted after three years in the OHL.
Its very likely that Monahan ends up the better player, I just think Jankowski has lots of potential to grow and thankfully will be given time to do it in the NCAA.

Disagree? Jankowski was drafted last year, Monahan drafted this year. Jankowski has one more year of development than Monahan.
Not sure why Jankowski not being good enough to play high level hockey is always used as a positive for him.
