If you're going to go after a goalie, why not contact the blues. They have Halak, Allen and Elliott. We could probably pry Elliott from them for a minimal amount just so they could open a spot for Allen to play regularly.

I know we mostly don't like Elliott, but he would be a good stop gap guy till Gillies is ready.
