I know we should always go with the BPA, but Ekblad seems like the kind of defenseman that championship teams are built around. Being that our current defense group is pretty terrible, it would be terrific to have someone of Ekblad's talent level in the new young defense group. Brodie needs a big shutdown guy to play with who can also play some offense. I don't see anyone else in our organization that comes close to that level.
