Just to play the devil's advocate here...
Schenn had 20 pts in his first 63 games in the league (after his first quasi-full season was complete)
Sven has had 14 pts in his first 28 games in the league.
It could be construed that thus far, Sven is showing better upside potential than Schenn.
I think right now Sven's biggest problem is between his ears, watching him play he looks like he's lost that confident edge, similar to what happened with Backlund a few years ago. Not every player responds well to public humiliation.
