Flyers get 2 scoring LW and a cheap D. They shake up the room and save significant cap.
Flames continue to get bigger and harder to play against. Simmonds fits the age range the Flames are lacking and is a RW which we need. Coburn is a top 4 D that actually gives Calgary a very respectable top 4. Russel slides back to the 3rd pairing. Calgary gets a big 6'4 center signed cheap for 2 more sesasons after this and this allows them to send Monahan back to junior.
I know many area against trading Sven and I am really only including him because of what Burke said and theorizing that Burke is not a big fan of him. Coutts is the same age and would be a huge piece of the rebuild. Simmonds is an upgrade over Glencross imo and Coburn is a huge upgrade over Butler and is another Calgarian
